I'm really excited to receive this landscape fabric from North Slope Industries. I've been looking for a 5 oz weed barrier because I've learned that anything less is pretty much useless to keep out the weeds that seem to be able to grow everywhere out here in the southeast! We don't have so much as merely weeds here as we have literal waves of garden destroying grasses and vines that choke out everything that we want to grow.
This weed barrier appears to have the best of both worlds where it's the soft weed barrier fabric on one side and the tightly woven canvas feel landscape fabric on the other. It feels thick and like it would be difficult for the weeds to penetrate.
Having all of the landscape fabric staples provided is a great bonus! It seems like I'm always short on those and have to run to the store to buy more. I love that it comes with the staples and that they aren't short staples, but 6" long! This is a great product and I can't wait to get it in my garden!
